FUNOFERTIZ HISTORY

Our company was born in Tlanepantla, Estado de Mexico in 1980 under the name of Metalurgica de Aluminio. This company started from the dream of two entrepreneurs named Virginia Gonzalez and Miguel Arellano, they are both metallurgic engineers graduated from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional. The founded a metal mechanic company, in which the first step for it’s establishment consisted in the creation of a metal classification warehouse and simultaneously building their own metal smelting infrastructure.

Due to the company’s constant growth, in 1995, the company moved to Tizayuca Hidalgo’s Industrial Park. In 2001 it changed it’s name to Fundición No Ferrosa de Tizayuca S. de R.L. M.I. (FUNOFERTIZ).
